Product Description This D-Fuzz-It DFuzzIt Sweater & Fabric Comb by Oak Hill works quickly and without harm to garments to keep good clothing looking new. Even the finest sweaters pill. It's part of the experience of wearing a luxurious fiber. The D-Fuzz-It Sweater Fabric Comb removes fuzz from all kinds of woven or knitted napped fabrics such as cashmere, lambs wool, and acrylic.
Pilling (or fuzzballs) are those little balls that form on a knitted fabric due to use. In all napped fabrics, fibers of different lengths protrude above the fabrics. These fibers impart a soft fluffy 'hand' to the fabrics. The D-Fuzz-It Sweater and Fabric Comb will catch these fuzz balls and brush them from the fabric. After a few removals of this matting, pilling, or fuzz balls, the longer fibers will all have been leveled - at this time the fabric will have fibers of virtually equal length protruding. The shorter, equal length fibers do not have a tendency to pill, and the fabric will then be almost pill proof. Absolutely simple, no motors, no batteries, and works great!

This actually works pretty well and can be faster than an electric fabric shaver. However, it is too rough for some fabrics and some fuzzy sweaters.
